Camp Omaha
Philip is now at Camp Omaha. Apparently the conditions are a little more austere than Camp Summerall and I haven't heard from him since the 13th of June. But I do look forward to the time he can write again.
In the meantime, I've been forming mental pictures -- from pictures posted at eshoo.net -- of what it's like for soldiers working in Iraq.
Keep the faith.

I ran upon your blog because I was looking up something about Camp Omaha. My brother just recently went to Iraq and that is where he will be stationed.

Hello, I am trying to find out any information on Camp Omaha...Where exactly it is located in Iraq, etc. How it got it's name etc. I work for the Omaha World-Herald newspaper in Omaha, NE and am trying to find out any info for one of our columnists. Thank you in advance.

Hello, my husband just left for Iraq on Valentines Day 2/14/05 and is now at Camp Omaha. I would love any information on what it is like there or photos if you have them. He doesn't have interenet access yet so anything you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
